There are several types of Term life Insurance.

• Annual Renewable Term life Insurance – Term Life Insurance that renews on an annual basis. The premiums typically increase every year.
   
• Decreasing Term life Insurance – Term Life Insurance with a face value that slowly decreases in scheduled steps during the term the policy is in force while the premium doesn’t change over time. The benefit of this type of policy is that the death benefit is high while the insured’s financial obligations are greatest, and while the premium is affordable throughout the life of the policy.
   
• Level Term Life Insurance – Term Life Insurance policy where the premium remains unchanged throughout the life of the policy.
   
• Return of Premium Term Life Insurance – Term Life Insurance policy where the premiums paid to the insurance company are returned to the policyholder at the end of the term if he/she has outlived the term
  .
• Convertible Privilege – A feature of some Term Life Insurance policies that allows the insured to convert the policy to permanent life insurance without a medical examination or additional underwriting if the conversion is made within a limited period of as specified in the original policy.
